Lake Charles Gasoline Facility

In pursuing our first natural gas-to-gasoline facility, G2X Energy has pre-selected a 200-acre site in Southwest Louisiana on land owned by the Lake Charles Harbor & Terminal District. The initial phase of this plant will produce methanol, but it will include MTG ready infrastructure. The next stage will add Methanol-to-Gasoline facilities to produce approximately 12,500 barrels per day of high-octane automotive gasoline through the conversion of methanol using technology licensed from ExxonMobil Research and Engineering. Through our proven technology process, the plant will convert approximately 130 million standard cubic feet per day of dry natural gas into methanol, then convert methanol to conventional gasoline.
